We will be at the Cameron Village Library at 3 (30 minutes before the meeting) for anyone that wants to do some research on the computers.
Happy New Year Roots and Shoots Raleigh Team Members! We loved all of your ideas and the energy and passion you all brought. Our meeting will be held on 2/5/17 from 3:30-4:30 pm - at the Cameron Village Library. We will be there at 3:00 for anyone that would like to do some research for our projects on the library computers before the meeting.
Here is our Agenda for our next meeting:
1. Before you come - Research some examples of different overpass or tunnel projects and bring one example of one that you liked to share (Bring a picture of your favorite one).
Look at our blogspot as a starting point). terms to search for: "wildlife bridge", "wildlife tunnel", "wildlife crossing"
2. We are hoping to have speaker to come in to talk about wildlife crossings in Wake County.
3. We will also need to do some planning for the 5K
- if you want to sell something on "race day" - come with ideas of what that would be
- where are we going to hold the 5K? If you know of a place that would work please contact them and bring any information they share with you
We will be keeping a list of your ideas for future projects - you can add to this at anytime.
